Agility Training for Dogs

At Paws 4 Fun, we provide engaging dog agility classes designed for exercise and bonding between you and your dog. Our locally owned facility is the largest dog agility center in Southern Minnesota and features regulation-sized agility courses on a fully matted surface with the full slate of professional agility equipment made by top manufacturers. Your instructor, Susan Bernhart, is a highly experienced national agility competitor who achieved an impressive ranking of #11 at the AKC Masters level over ALL dog sizes in the U.S in 2011. The dog trained by Susan that achieved that ranking is the one you see in the picture above, Ninja, a purebred toy poodle. Susan continues to compete regularly and is available to mentor you as you explore this exciting pastime. 

Agility is not only a fun activity; it fosters a closer relationship built on trust and focus. It’s a game you can enjoy together, offering dogs both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Many breeds thrive on having a job beyond simply a casual walk or a game of fetch, and the good news is that all dogs can participate in agility! In fact, if your dog can sit, stay and come, they are ready for the basics.

Our private space ensures you have the freedom to work at your own pace. As your dog progresses, they will start with smaller/lower obstacles and, by the second lesson will be confidently navigating from one challenge to the next. Agility is perfect for both summer and winter, making it a versatile activity. While it's a national and international sport, most owners enjoy it simply for the fun and enrichment. No wonder it is one of the fastest growing recreational pastimes in the world.

Join us for $225 for the first 8 beginner sessions, with continuing classes available at $100 for 4 sessions each month.
