AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Training

Among our most popular classes, AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Training is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an excellent first in-person training class for puppies. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title which is also offered at Paws 4 Fun.

Taught by AKC-sanctioned S.T.A.R. Puppy Trainer Susan Bernhart, organized training classes provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs as well as getting used to other people.  Our 10,000 square foot fully matted dog center will give your puppy plenty of room to romp!

 At the end of this training, you can expect your puppy to be free of aggression, tolerate collars,  can be hugged or held, able to take away treat or toy, allow petting from others than the owner, tolerate grooming, walk on leash in a straight line, able to be walked by other people, sits and downs on command, comes to owner, reacts mildly to distractions, and stays on leash with another person.  Owners oversee veterinary care, puppy health observation, exercise plan, class attendance, clean-up and puppy ID.
